Some of the main events the Continence Resource Centre has been involved in since the March newsletter are:
30th April – 2nd May 10th International Paediatric and Child Health Nursing Conference in Darwin Over 400 delegates attended and the CFA information was well received.
17th May Healthed Women’s and Children’s Health Update & Education Day, Basil Hetzel Buildiing University of SA Approx 280 GP’s attended this day. The CFA booth was well attended and the program included a short information session on the role of the CFA.
14th June Multiple Sclerosis Awareness Seminar Day, Fullarton Park Centre A client information day and the continence information session was well received.
Continence Awareness Week 3-9th August 2008
This year’s slogan is “Life’s Little Spills” CFA National have developed a poster for Continence Awareness Week. Please let me know if you would like posters for a display during Continence Awareness Week as I have some to distribute.
8th August Port Lincoln Continence Information Day for Health Professionals Planning for the 8th August Continence Information Day for Rural Health Professionals in Pt Lincoln is now well underway. A flyer is included for your information in this newsletter. Please forward the information to anyone who you think may be interested to attend.
